Cropinno Showcases AgTech Innovation at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show 2025

Woodstock, Ontario – September 18, 2025

More than 35,000 visitors gathered from September 9–11 for this year’s Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (COFS) in Woodstock, Ontario; a three-day celebration of innovation, connection, and the future of farming. From live field demonstrations and ag-tech exhibits to farm-fresh food and educational tours, COFS 2025 once again proved to be the heartbeat of Canadian agriculture.

Show Director Rob O’Connor described the event as more than a showcase of new technologies: “Our farm show is not only about showcasing what’s new in agriculture. We bring people together.” And that was evident everywhere; from interactive demos to lively networking sessions where farmers, researchers, startups, and suppliers exchanged ideas about the future of food production.

This year’s show brought together a diverse mix of visitors, including international delegates, school groups, and industry leaders; all eager to explore how innovation and collaboration can strengthen farming communities across borders. Political leaders joined in as well: Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness Trevor Jones met with Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding to discuss shared agricultural priorities, while Minister of Rural Affairs Lisa Thompson spent time engaging with visitors and exhibitors on site.

COFS continues to expand its global reach, attracting international guests looking to connect with Canadian agribusiness and technology innovators. With over 600 exhibitors, the 2025 edition was one of the most dynamic yet companies unveiled next-generation tools, demonstrated autonomous and electric machinery in real field conditions, and shared new research that points to a smarter, more sustainable future for agriculture.

The highlights of the show included:

  • Autonomous, robotic, and electric equipment demonstrations that showed the real potential of modern machinery in tillage, baling, and field management.

  • AgTech networking events that brought together startups, farmers, and investors to spark new collaborations.

  • The Dairy Innovation Centre, where live animals and robotic feeding systems demonstrated advances in livestock technology.

  • Educational tours for local students, helping the next generation understand how food is produced and how technology is transforming the farm sector.

  • A local market featuring vendors from across Rural Oxford County, giving visitors a literal taste of Ontario’s homegrown bounty.

Cropinno’s Presence at the OMAFRA Innovation Pavilion

For Cropinno, this year’s show was especially meaningful. We were proud to showcase our satellite- and AI-powered crop monitoring technology at the Bioenterprise booth, located in the OMAFRA Innovation Pavilion. It was a great opportunity to demonstrate how our solutions detect early signs of crop stress using vegetation indices derived from satellite imagery. Farmers and industry leaders had the chance to explore how Cropinno’s system turns raw remote-sensing data into actionable insights that improve productivity, sustainability, and profitability.

Being part of the Innovation Pavilion allowed us to connect directly with Ontario’s ag-innovation ecosystem, from funding and research partners to technology developers and growers eager to adopt smarter farming practices. The feedback and interest we received reaffirmed our mission: to make precision agriculture accessible, affordable, and impactful for farms of all sizes.

Looking Ahead

As the 2025 edition wraps up, one thing is clear: Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show continues to be a cornerstone of agricultural innovation and collaboration. It’s where technology meets tradition, and where companies like Cropinno can listen, learn, and lead.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s event, returning September 2026, right here in Woodstock, Ontario. Until then, the conversations started at COFS 2025 will keep driving new ideas and partnerships, all aimed at helping Canadian farmers thrive in a rapidly changing world.
